Favourite Visual Artist
Dayum! There's no way I can list, much less off the top of my head, all the artists, known and unknown, that amaze me. Hmmm... you can always start by checking out my favs, right? ;)
Favourite Movies
Most 3D Animations (by Dreamworks, Pixar/Disney Pixar especially), the LOTR and The Hobbit series, Avatar, The Last Unicorn (childhood favourite),
Favourite TV Shows
I'm *eagerly* awaiting Starz's OUTLANDER series which is based on my absolute favourite author's books!!! (Oops! I think I just peed a little...) Game of Thrones, The Tudors, Carl Sagan's "Cosmos", The Borgias, Archer...
Favourite Bands / Musical Artists
Folk/traditional irish music are my all time favs, but my musical tastes cover many genres. Oh! and on behalf of Canada, I would like to appologize for Justin Bieber. I'm not patriotic in the least, but, MAN!, that kid is an *embarassment* to our nation.
Favourite Books
"Outlander" & "Lord John Grey" series (Diana Gabaldon), "Kushiel" and "Naamah" series (Jacqueline Carey), "Prince of Nothing" and "The Aspect-Emperor" series (R. Scott Bakker), "A Song of Ice and Fire" series (George R. R. Martin), anything by Tom Robbins
Favourite Writers
On top of the ones mentioned in my favourite books: Daniel Quinn ("Ishmael" & "The Story of B"), Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens...
Favourite Games
Fable, Dragon Age (Toolset & mods!) and Assassins Creed series, Kingdoms of Amalur, Skyrim (mods!)...
Favourite Gaming Platform
PC (provided I can plug in a controller - being born in the late 70's, maybe I'm "old fashioned" but keyboards remind me of work), Wii/Wii Fit, XBOX 360/Kinect. (Haven't used Playstation yet - don't judge me! Hahaha!).
Tools of the Trade
My PC, dual monitors, 3ds Max (mainly), Photoshop, Mudbox, ZBrush, music and the occasional feline friend rubbing itself on my face, blocking my view... Ya... Thanks Sorcha... Finnegan...
Other Interests
Lately, finding clever ways to survive my boyfriend's flatulence. (Hahaha! We're trying this "weekday vegetarian" thing, a diet that causes him much gas. At this rate, my vanishing skills willl reach Ninja level in no time!) *POOF!*
I'm definitely not a book one should judge by its cover.  And I am confident when I say I'm worth "reading" - but don't pick up this book if you can't handle the truth (a decision that must be made in humility, not arrogance), because there are big chunks of truth in here.  Unlike many people, I don't see life in Black or White.  I don't see it in shades of grey, either (though that's still an improvement from the former).  I see it in full colours and wouldn't have it any other way. I'm genuine, humorous, intelligent, sensible, perceptive, brave & analytical.  Passionate, flexible, warm, kind, generous, proactive, free, imaginative, wac

thank you so much for the kind words:) it depends on the piece, they take a few weeks to a few months depending. this one is unfortunately gone. but i can take on customs or do a carving on a pre existing piece
thanks again
I'm happy it found a home.  Such beauties deserve it.  :)
My boyfriend's the real guitarist in the house (I just "scratch" my Ovation once in a blue moon), he's in a Jazz phase, but his loves include Rock 'N Roll, Blues, Folk...  I know he loves guitars not just as instruments, but as objects of beauty.  So I sent him a link to your gallery, to get him dreaming...

I can't help but think of movies like Labyrinth and Legend when I look at them (maybe because I've revisited these childhood oldies recently).  What's your influence, aside from your own imagination, of course?  :)
Thanks for the fav!
